Scope of Training: OSHA requires the use of air monitoring equipment to determine to what extent emergency response operations will be conducted, the types and levels of hazardous substances involved in an operation, and the type of protective equipment required. We provide training on the use of equipment of sufficient sensitivity and specificity to identify and evaluate any hazardous atmosphere that may exist or arise, so appropriate procedures can be developed and acceptable entry conditions established.

Course Objectives: Upon the completion of the course, the candidate should be able to:
- Initiate the level of personal protection required
- Determine the changing conditions of the operation
- List the order of atmospheric testing
- Describe stratified atmospheres
